This section highlights work related to building healthier digital communities, improving participation, supporting peer-to-peer engagement, and using community conversations to surface audience needs, product friction, and trust issues.
The examples here focus on how I approach community spaces as both communication channels and feedback systems.
Reddit users are often skeptical of brand participation, especially when they are frustrated, troubleshooting, or discussing product concerns. The communication challenge is knowing when to engage, when to listen, and how to respond in a way that is useful, direct, and appropriate for the platform without sounding defensive or overly corporate.
I monitor Reddit and other community conversations for recurring questions, product confusion, user frustration, and brand perception issues. I help assess when an official brand response is useful, support or draft customer-facing responses, identify tone and reputational risk, and share relevant audience insights with Product, Product Marketing, Content, Documentation, Support, Leadership, and other customer-facing teams.
This case study demonstrates community strategy, Reddit fluency, social listening, platform-native engagement, brand reputation judgment, escalation awareness, audience insight, and the ability to turn community conversations into useful internal feedback.

Context
A Reddit user raised urgent concerns about possible unauthorized access through TeamViewer, creating a high-trust community situation where the brand needed to respond clearly without speculating.
What it shows
Platform judgment, security-sensitive communication, escalation awareness, and knowing how to provide useful guidance without overextending a public Reddit reply.
Context
Users becoming frustrated at reset request process, resulting in negative perspective on brand image.
Pattern Noticed
Users angrily reaching out on social media and in the support community unable to request reset of their IDs to be returned to the free version. Frequently cited by frustrated users was a reset form that did not always load (due to browser-type) and had confusing instructions. This led to an increase in the overall conversation of the software becoming more negative.
Action/Internal Value
Connected with website team; together we ran tests on the most popular browsers and did find some inconsistencies that were easily resolved. We also walked through the reset process and I explained the pain points that users cited; together we rewrote the instructions, and made any error messages much clearer.
I also rewrote community and social media guidelines for how to reply to specific use cases and initiated pre-emptive team actions for Community threads. Also helped draft new blog post that better described the process and why users may get flagged.
Through this we were able to redirect users much easier to request a reset and reduced the number of overall frustration when users initially reach out for help with the reset process.
What it Shows
Community listening, pattern recognition, cross-functional feedback sharing, and the ability to turn user frustration into clearer support guidance, improved messaging, and a smoother customer-facing process.
Context
Paid users were reporting repeated in-app marketing popups despite having marketing messages disabled, creating a growing Community thread with visible frustration and negative sentiment.
Community Situation
Users described the popups as disruptive, intrusive, and especially frustrating because they were already paying customers. As more users added similar complaints, the thread required a visible brand response and internal follow-up.
Action/Follow-Through
I stepped into the thread to acknowledge the reports, confirm that the issue had been reported internally, and set the expectation that an update would be shared once more information was available. After internal teams identified and resolved the cause, I returned to the thread with a confirmed update and clear next step for affected users.
What it Shows
Community issue management, sentiment awareness, internal escalation, public follow-through, and the ability to keep users informed during a visible customer-frustration moment.
